Message I only had few days to pull the motor and change out the turbos. I had wonderful "Custom" DSP Racing turbos on the car. They were not operating properly and were smoking VERY bad. When I looked at the turbos, I spun the turbine with my finger and the one I knew was bad took twice the force to spin as the other. Also while spinning, it would spin then it would be hard then spin and hard again etc....

Upon looking close, check out the bent rods for the actuators, wonder if this is one of the reasons I had boost problems...

DSP didn't care, just BEND the rod around the oil sump!

With the heart out...

Here is the old passenger turbo

Here is the stock log manifold compared to the Greddy header.

Here are the DSP turbos compared to the TD05. I couldn't belive how small the TD05's were compared to the ones that were on the car.

Here are some pics with header wrap on the header and piping.

Rich had some brackets made for me to take the weight off the headers

back to her home

It was pretty tight fit when putting the tranny back in

And finally!!

Sorry about the camera, not the best but it did its job. I forgot about the din switches on the back of my boost controller for external wastegates so right now im only seeing stock boost. The TD05's do have a smooth boost curve and best of all, there not smoking!!
And of course DSP Racing is ignoring all my calls, emails and faxes cause they know i'm going to send them the crap turbos they gave me and get my money back. I also found few oil leaks, my alt, rack and pinion was caked with oil. I thought DSP would of fixed those when they rebuilt the engine??
Sorry so long and all the pics thought you guys would enjoy them. I can't wait to see how the turbos feel with a 100 shot on em:)
I want to say thanks for Chad who helped me with the work and for Rich in NY for selling me the kit and helping me with any questions I had. Also Zo and Greg Dupree with all the questions I had. Thanks guys!
